This is the ninth assessment of the Dutch sourcing community’s relationship with its main service providers. The research about the key deciding factors for outsourcing contracts provides a comprehensive picture of the substantive and commercial developments taking place in the market.

The Executive Briefing contains a general overview of the developments in the Dutch market for IT outsourcing. Two articles deserve special attention. The first article analyses ten years of outsourcing experience at ABN AMRO. This bank applies a true multi-vendor approach, including the use of shared KPIs. This story is augmented by an interview on multi-sourcing with Laurence Lock Lee. The second article focuses on an important but less understood part of outsourcing: innovation. Furthermore this research notes contains several interviews with business executives and academic professionals.

The briefing ends with a general overview of the research findings, including the Outsourcing Recommendation Index. This Executive Briefing is a summary of the complete study Outsourcing Performance, a hardcopy (in Dutch) can be ordered here.
